Does not last

"I've bought 3 of these and 2 have gone out."

Never have I had an issue.

"I bought 3 of these in 2024 and will never look back. This product is top of the line. whoever is rating these under 3 stars probably has trouble figuring out how to use this super simple device. The fact that i can control everything and set multiple schedules for each outlet is insane. nobody should ever buy any other timer or timer bar. When the wifi cuts out the schedules continue to operate, Ive never had a power failure yet so we'll see what happens then."

6 outlet protector

"This surge protector is perfect for my needs. I use each plug for different applications and schedule each one for different tasks."

An excellent product

"I have several single plugs and found I needed the power bar due to the plugs were behind furniture. I now have 3 in use and of right now no issue with them. My mother who is 86 yrs old like that she can just tell Alexa to turn on light and other items on. They were easy to set up. I will buy more of same if I needed"

USBs aren't ""Smart""

"The 4 outlets work as advertised, but the 2 USBs aren't connected to the ""Smart"" functions. They are on all the time."

Using 3, Need Another

"I presently have three of these 6 outlet plug strips around the property. They are life savers when the power goes out and the cameras fail to reboot. I actually need to purchase one more to finish out my list."

Great idea, but needs work.

"I loved the Geeni smart strips, but they're frustrating to use. Let's get this out of the way first: It's not a surge protector. A power strip doesn't make it one. A surge protector is for preventing your devices from being destroyed due to an overload of energy, or a ""surge. "" Power strips are just to deliver more devices some power. So this description really shouldn't be calling it a surge protector. Anyway, to the meat of my issue. When I got these, it was really cool, once I went through the hour or so of downloading the app, logging in, and connecting each device so that I can use Google Home to control each device. It was really cool for about a year, but then these plugs just occasionally disconnect from the app, so you need to repeat this process a few times over time so that it continues to work. Sometimes, the plugs just turn off, so you have to reach down and turn them back on manually. But the real issue is, after a while, the plugs just stop working. I just woke up to this happening for the second time. It's off and won't turn back on. I've read that there's a chance it'll work again after it's been unplugged for like an hour, but why is this even a thing? The idea's great, but these inconveniences really need to be as good as a traditional power strip. I don't care to have to climb behind my desk every few months to turn it back on, and today I had to swap it out for a real power strip to get my devices to work again. The plugs are outside of warranty, so I'm basically stuck. I think I might try TP-Link next. Their stuff seems to never die."

After 5 wifi single units and more , I love it!

"5 years ago I bought 5 single units and used it on different way . I working well with Alexa too. . I just bought a new 6 position power bar by them , because I so satisfied. I just think they can do more with the automation programming. Any way I give the 5 stars, and if I need more unit , I’ll choose Geeni again."
